Google Might Crash Game Console Party

By: Steve Wylde

Earlier this week, it was reported that Google may be looking to cash in on the video game console actions by working on an Android-powered console of it’s own.  Not to be left out, Apple, has also reportedly been working on something similar as well.

Google’s Android platform and Apples iOS are both already popular gaming platforms on mobile devices and tablets, but these latest rumors suggest they are both gunning for the living room.  With living room consoles already in more increasing frequency being connected to the internet, this is an obvious move for both companies to work on solidly going after this hugely profitable space.
