Are Smart Watches The Next Big Tech Trend?

The Wall Street Journal released an article discussing Google’s plans to develop a video game console but also gave a clue to their desire to also develop a smartwatch so as to presumably not be outdone by Apple and others such as Pebble and Sony.

Internet ready smart watches that can allow you to everything from check your email, your phone messages, and your pulse could be the next big thing in portable tech. Bloomberg reported that around 1.2 million smart watches will be sold in 2013 which could generate upwards of $370 million in sales that could jump 20-fold by 2015.
